Instead of the traditional drum roaster that uses natural gas or propane to roast coffee we use a fully electric air roaster. This allows us to still produce high quality, dynamic roasts while eliminating emissions. Our roaster uses hot air to roast the beans instead of a flame under a steel drum making our carbon footprint as small as possible. Because of this process the amount of power we use is about the same as your oven at home.
